Three Leaves Design is a creative studio led by Creative Director Gretchen Ritter-Lopatowski. We partner with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations to solve creative puzzles, simplify the complicated, and create thoughtful design that works in the real world.
We believe good design starts with listening, works best when it’s collaborative, and matters most when it supports people and missions that matter.

Designer. Puzzle-solver. Organizer of chaos. Sometimes I curse like a sailor, but I have a big heart and an even bigger smile.
After years collaborating with corporations, nonprofits, and design agencies, I founded Three Leaves Design in 2020 to build something more personal, more collaborative, and more human.
Today, I lead every project as Creative Director, collaborating with a trusted circle of creative professionals. We build each project team around the specific skills needed, so you get exactly the right support, no bloated agency structure, just thoughtful collaboration.
We keep things simple.
We solve creative puzzles.
We make sh*t pretty.
More importantly, we show up as partners.
Our team works remotely within the Kitsap area and collaboratively. There are lots of Zoom calls, lots of text messages, and an impressive collection of funny GIFs sent at all hours to ease the stress of deadlines. There’s plenty of coffee and swearing involved, always good music, and when we need a reset, we stare out into the trees for a hot minute.
We’re fueled by any kind of delicious potato, meaningful work, and helping good people bring their ideas to life.
We believe:
We’re here for the big ideas and the everyday needs – from branding and websites to print, campaigns, and social media support.
Busy? Yes.
Human? Always.
We make time for people and missions that matter.
Whether you’re looking for thoughtful design, a new website, social media support, or an ongoing creative partnership, Three Leaves Design is here to help.
Reach out and let’s solve some puzzles, organize some sh*t, and make it all look good along the way.
